You can simply make your everyday life easier and safer with VALLHORN wireless motion sensor that reacts to movement and turns your lighting on – both indoors and outdoors.

Powered by two rechargeable LADDA AAA batteries, which are easy to remove and charge and put back in again.

The design with a matte surface makes the motion sensor discreet and easy to place in different rooms in the home.

The motion sensor can be connected to 10 light sources at the same time, and they all work in unison.

You can choose to set the motion sensor to day or night mode and also set it to automatically turn off after 1 or 5 minutes.

By connecting this product to DIRIGERA hub, you get even more out of it and can also control it, together with other smart products, in the IKEA Home smart app.

Wow, is a big boy!!Anonymous reviewerI’ve got a couple of these installed now, they work well, great range and sensitivity. I’ve not had any false triggers like other reviewers. I’m using them with rechargeable AAA’s. I’m using them with Apple HomeKit and Siri Shortcuts to get custom automations, they are responsive so no complaints. They are surprisingly big though! Certainly when compared to previous models. I do like the mounting options, works well in the corner of a room.5

1.2v batteries REQUIRED Anonymous reviewerThis is an overall great sensor with a really impressively wide motion detection zone. As the title suggests however, this sensor requires 1.2v batteries. Using standard non rechargeable 1.5v will cause the motion sensor to constantly detect motion even when there is none.4

False positives left right and centeAnonymous reviewerIf you use 'normal' 1.5v batteries this unit is unreliable. It fires every 5-60m minutes. If you use rechargeables it seems more reliable. Search for 'valhorn false positives' Very disappointing, I have cheap rubbish from Ali that is bad, but better than this. Hopes/expected IKEA to do a better job. Maybe an OTA update will fix it?? It's also not hugely attractive..1
